Day 49; No more allowed luxuries!

Sunday, June 13, 2010

No more allowed luxuries (within my eating window) for me! I have admittedly been naughty and BINGED on Ice-cream and Chocolate.

How very, very naughty of me.

I do also, however blame that 'Time of the Month' for my sudden need to binge and gorge myself with unnecessary sugar. Ugggh. I also do realize another factor is because gradually I've reduced my intake of said various 'Medication' to zero.

That's right, ZERO!

So what is my current plan of attack concerning my weight loss and overall health? Simple.

Eat Meat;
In which, I will consume less (or preferably no) eggs and have 1/ or 2 meals during my five-hour eating window.

Eat Animal Fat;
Self-explanatory, really... upping my intake of fat shall help curb and sate my hunger

Drink Pure Distilled Water;
Another self-explanatory, reason... Tap-water is disgusting.

Drink at least 2/ or 3 Cups of Green Tea per Day;
A hydration method suggested due to my never-ending Eczema.

Add a liberal teaspoon of Turmeric with any given Meal;
Another method suggested for Eczema.

And that in itself is my plan, no more allowed luxuries. I want to hit that 90kg mark.

Until next Sunday.

Day 42; Sorry for the delay in updating

Sunday, June 6, 2010

I truly am sorry for the lack of updating; You see. I had a family emergency, my Grandmother was in a Critical Condition and eventually passed on the 18th May, 2010.

 Nanny Pua - 89 Years Old.
As you can see from the image above, she looked quite youthful for a woman of her age and an amazing fact is that she too practiced fasting, for she was a woman of faith. My Grandmother was an amazing woman and loved by all who knew her.

So.

Why the lack of updating? Mainly I didn't have enough time and I ended up staying longer, helping sort out My Grandmother's affairs in order. I do apologize but we all have the matter of real lives to deal with. I am back now, though... so expect my usual weekly 'Sunday' update.

I will say, even though I was away. I did indeed keep to my 'Fasting Lifestyle' despite the odd circumstances. I also have adapted to a more 'Carnivore' diet due to my Health. So far, I've been feeling better than ever and have much energy to burn. I love it.

Until next, Sunday...

Day 14; It's getting easier, Yay!

Sunday, May 9, 2010

First off a big thank you, to those who read and whom hath commented on this small blog of mine. I really do appreciate the support you have given me, your comments mean the world to me and give me that extra omph of motivation. So thank you.

I'm pleased to announce that I'm once again finding the fasting aspect much, much easier to handle. The medication in itself has stopped affecting me hunger wise. Yay!

I've also brought myself a water distiller, pure steamed water to drink while fasting. It's just so fresh, clean and utterly divine to drink.

And! I am out of things to say, till next Sunday...

Day 7; I won't lie, I admit I'm struggling

Sunday, May 2, 2010

The past week has been extremely hard and admittedly a real struggle. I survived. Admittedly, just barely.

It's not the actual 'Fast5 Lifestyle' I'm struggling with-- Oh no, it's that I still have to take the dratted Medication I've been prescribed and thus I'm struggling as it interferes with my 'Fast5 Lifestlye' in the process.

I am surviving, just-- yet I refuse to fall back into old habits, I so previously slipped back into before.

I know I can do this; will do this... I must.

I'm sticking through to the end, My prescription Medication is only a mere obstacle. I shall persevere!

Day 1; Back on Track

Sunday, April 25, 2010

January 28th, 2010 -- 115kgs or 253lbs
The exact day I came across and started practicing the 'Fast5 Lifestyle'

April 14th, 2010 -- 107kgs or 236lbs
Roughly the day I stopped bothering with the 'Fast5 Lifestyle' due to medication which resulted in the desire for food... 3/or 6x a day.

April 25th, 2010 -- 106kgs or 235lbs
The day where I've noticed that due to stopping with the 'Fast5 Lifestyle' My weight has moreorless entered a plateau and in general I just don't feel healthy or vivacious with life.

The solution? Simple. 'Fast5"

I am back on track! The 'Fast5 Lifestyle' is a way of life, ...My life and as for my medication... for now, I'll resist the temptation/desire for food and opt instead to fill up on nice warm water when the cravings for food starts.

As for keeping daily food logs? I've decided against... because let's face it, I'm a simple female who can happily eat the same thing day in and day out. Instead I'll be updating this particular fasting blog of mine once a week or so with ramblings of my health, moods and et cetera related to the 'Fast5 Lifestyle'

The plan? Basic.

My plan is to stick with the 'Fast5 Lifestyle' for six days out of the week and the seventh day will be a complete fast with either water/or other liquids.

Other than this, I have nothing more to say/or type.
